Who You Work with Makes a Difference

Bathrooms are complicated! These rooms have to offer full functionality and often provide some spa-like amenities, while usually being the smallest individual, distinct spaces in your home. And, they have to take on the responsibility of greeting you each morning and setting you on the right foot for the day ahead. Oh, I almost forgot to mention – per square foot, they are the most expensive spaces to remodel and renovate! It’s no small wonder why our clients come to us feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of this type of project.

When we design bathrooms, we use state-of-the-art 3D software to provide a window into what the space will become. This is the best way to ensure that the end result of the renovation will be exactly what you want it to be. But we also have a saying: “As good as the 3D renderings are, your space will come out significantly better!” How is this even possible?

This is where our partners come into play. When we want to select plumbing fixtures for a bathroom, we take our clients to the Bender Plumbing Supply showroom in New Haven. Like any excellent showroom, there are enough items on display to make your head spin, but when you have the proper guide to make sense of it all it isn’t a daunting task. When we meet with the Bender team, they work with us to understand the intent of our designs by examining our 3D renderings and 2D construction plans and work directly with us and our clients to help make selections that elevate the overall look and feel of the space. This is how we ensure that the results eclipse the 3D design.

It’s important to visit a showroom because, as a homeowner, you’ll need to understand the product that you’re getting. It’s one thing to see it online, but another thing entirely to touch and feel it. While you can always visit a showroom and meet with the amazing team at Bender, having your bathroom professionally designed gives you the ability to truly elevate your space. And of course, nobody designs bathrooms quite like Design by the Jonathans.
