There are good design consultants, and then there is Leslie Oppel. If there were a rating higher than five stars, I would use it for her! Leslie helped me design and select 90% of my master bathroom, and I truly cannot imagine doing another project without her. Bender literally has everything you could need or want for kitchens and bathrooms, but what made this experience extraordinary was Leslie herself. She helped me select our cabinetry with drawer inserts; all tile (flooring, shower walls and floor, and sink wall); a stunning freestanding tub, sinks, and toilet; all hardware for the sinks, shower, and tub (which are absolutely gorgeous); and countless accessories including mirrors, cabinet pulls, and even the toilet paper holder. Every detail was thoughtfully curated down to the smallest detail. Leslie was constantly communicative, always returned calls/emails, and made herself available in a way that is rare today. But what truly sets her apart is this: when issues came up during the project that had nothing to do with her, meaning, no commission, no extra sale, no incentive whatsoever, she still stepped in. She spent time (with me and without me) researching solutions, making calls, and helping me solve problems simply because she cared about the outcome as much as I did. I am not an easy client. I am detail-oriented, picky, ask a lot of questions, can change my mind midstream, and expect things done correctly. Leslie didn’t just tolerate that, she embraced it. She matched my energy. When I was frustrated, she was calm and solution focused. When I was excited, she celebrated right alongside me. She never made me feel like “too much,” even when I probably was. We genuinely clicked, and that made the entire process not just manageable, but fun. As someone in the service industry myself, I know the difference between someone doing their job and someone truly serving their client. This was the latter. This was excellence. This was ownership. This was pride in her work. The kind of service you remember. I have used Bender Plumbing before, as the product quality and brand selection is phenomenal, and I had good experiences, but working with Leslie was on another level entirely. This wasn’t just about selecting fixtures and tile. It was about having someone in your corner who genuinely wants your project to succeed (AND look beautiful). Highly recommend Benders for your bathroom supply needs. Just finished a project where the customer service and pricing were better than any of the places in my area. I had an amazing experience with Bender for our new build. Stephanie and Leisa were incredibly helpful in bringing my vision to life from start to finish. I purchased our tile, plumbing fixtures, tub, toilets, shower, and vanities through them, and the entire process was smooth and enjoyable. Dillon was very pleasant, thoughtful, and helpful.  He is a good listener and guided me in reviewing a variety of products, both on the showroom floor and in the computer, including detailed specifications.  He followed up the next day with additional details, prices, and delivery times as promised.
